Life on the Road

The characters who rarely drive or do not appear so often have unremarkable cars, and don’t always have the same vehicle. But there are some notable exceptions.

The Pubs of Summer Wine

Part of having no responsibilities means you have lots of leisure time, so inevitably some of this time is spent socialising in pubs. The Trio and their accomplices make over 220 pub visits throughout the run of the show.

While there are many episodes that do not feature a pub, sometimes (like in several episodes of series 16) they visit three different pubs in just one episode.

In this video we will visit most of the over 60 real and fake pubs from the show – and look at some of the 20 studio sets.
